Lamar Odom's fiancee, Sabrina Parr has penned a heartfelt message to the NBA star after rekindling their romance.

Recall the fitness trainer announced she had ended her relationship with Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom one year after their engagement earlier this month.

A few days later, Sabrina,34, took to Instagram to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her engagement to Lamar with a photo of the NBA star planting a kiss on her cheek.

On Monday, she took to her Instagram story to pen a heartfelt message to Odom, 41, in which she wrote how special he is to her.

'You were such a great ball player! You had finesse, style, calmness, skill out of this world, hustle, tenacity and you were an all-around impact player!' she began.

'You have records that still stand today! But you know what? You are still that guy! You still possess all of those things!' she added.

Parr also hinted that wedding plans are still on, adding, 'When I become your wife, I may push you even more! Not because you aren't enough as you are, but because I know how much more you have in you.'

'I know how you're built! I truly know what you can do in this world! Nothing about you is mediocre,' she added.

'Everything you do and touch from here on out should be big! I love you @lamarodom' she concluded with two kiss face emojis.

On Thursday night, October 8, a video showing a lady who was allegedly shot in the mouth by a mobile police officer at Salvation bus stop at Opebi, Lagos State, went viral. .

The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi who has now confirmed the incident, told LIB that the said police officer is not of the state police command but works in Lagos. He said the officer is the boyfriend of the victim and that preliminary investigations suggest that the officer fired a shot at her while they had a disagreement.

Adejobi added that the police have visited the hospital where the lady was rushed to and will give more information when she is stable and has been interrogated. He said efforts are being made to apprehend the erring officer.

The hulking actor who played The Mountain on Game of Thrones revealed on Instagram on Sunday night that he and his wife welcomed a baby boy, on Saturday.

Sharing a story of their son's birth on his page, the proud father wrote:

6am Kelsey woke me up telling me she had been losing her water, I immediately jumped out of bed and said alright let’s go, she stayed calm and replied with a laugh and said, no we are not going yet. I then asked to call our midwives to which she replied again no let’s just wait for awhile.

7:15am we call our friend to come photograph the labour, the midwife and doula. Once the midwife arrived she checked out the progress and we were surprised to learn Kelsey was already 5cm dilated. The midwife asked if she was ready to go to the birthing centre or wanted to try out that bath at home and Kelsey, still remaining calm, decided to try the bath at home. While I was filling up the bath things started escalating quickly, the contractions were much stronger lasting over a minute and were anywhere from 2-3 min apart. The midwife then said she thought we should head to the clinic and finally Kelsey agreed it was time.

8:40am. We arrived at the Bjo?rkin, the birthing centre, after a quick 10 min drive. Right away Kelsey knew exactly what she wanted and asked how long until the birthing pool would be filled. The next fifteen minutes Kelsey paced around between contractions waiting for the tub to be filled.

9:00am She was in the tub and immediately started to push. Things escalated super quickly. Throughout it all she did amazing. She was in complete control of her mind and body. She had strong opinions on exactly what she wanted and where she wanted to be. I am completely in awe of how strong she is, and so proud of her for everything she did to prepare herself throughout her pregnancy. It cannot be put into words how proud I am and how I feel about this experience.

11:19am After an extremely hard 2 hours and 19 mins of pushing our healthy, strong, beautiful boy arrived weighing 3530 grams, 52 cm long.

To finish the most beautiful, awe inspiring labour was the most wonderful phone call to my daughter to introduce her to her new little brother

.

5:30pm We arrive back at home both mom and baby doing super well and spent our first night as three together.

.

We have decided on a name and cannot wait to share it with you all soon.

Björnsson is also dad to daughter Theresa Líf, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Thelma Björk Steimann.

A final year student of Covenant University, Ibukunoluwa Aina, was forced to shave his beard after a lecturer at the University rejected his look to his online project defence recently.

Aina and other students appeared before a panel to defend the project they carried out as part of the requirements for them to graduate from the institution.

However, when he appeared for his defense, one of his lecturers stopped him, saying his full beard, was unacceptable. The lecturer mandated him to go back and shave the beards and then return for another defence.

Aina went to shave his beards and returned for his defence.

A dramatic video circulating online shows a man believed to be a groom speaking in tongues as soon as the officiator said ‘you may kiss the bride”.

In the video, the couple is seen facing each other and holding hands when a female voice in the background said “you may kiss the bride”.

Instead of grabbing the white gown-wearing bride and doing the needful, as is seen in most white weddings, the man started speaking in tongues while jumping around.

At a point, he attempted to unveil the ‘bride’ to kiss her but as soon as he saw her face, the ‘holy spirit’ descended on him again and he resumed another round of tongue-speaking.

It is unclear where the incident happened and why no guest could be seen in the video. The ambiance also looks more like someone’s room than either a courtroom or a church premises.

Suspected Fulani militia hacks final year Poly student to death in Kaduna

A final year student of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, Zaria, Isaac Thomas, 24, was brutally murdered by supected Fulani miliia in Atakmawei, Zamandabo ward, in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area (LGA) in Southern Kaduna.

National Public Relations Officer of the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), Mr. Luka Binniyat, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, September 11, said the Fulani militia laid ambush for Isaac, his brother Anthony Magaji and one other person, on the way to their sugar cane farm.

"The Fulani militia on the 8th September, 2020 lay ambush for three Atyap youths from Atakmawei in same Zamandabo Ward in Atyap Chiefdom, as they went to clear weed in their sugar cane farm about a kilometer from their village," the statement reads.

“Suddenly, armed herdsmen came from hiding and struck. They descended on them with daggers and machetes. Isaac Thomas, a final year student of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, Zaria, was hacked down. They axed his neck and head with macabre wounds and killed him instantly"

"Anthony Magaji, also an OND student of the same school, managed to escape with life threatening injuries and is now under intensive care in a hospital, while the third escaped with less injury."

Also confirming the incident, the deceased's colleague, Christopher Ugwuja, said that Anthony is still in critical condition.

"I regret to announce the sudden death of a colleague, friend and a humble secretary of Our Lady Cause of Our Joy Praesidium, Legion of Mary Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria.. Brother Isaac Thomas.. A final year HND student at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria"

"He was attacked along side his brother Magaji Anthony who is in critical condition now, but the attackers (herdsmen) succeeded in killing Isaac it all happened in their hometown Kafanchan early morning of today.. Brother with a heavy heart we pray your soul rest in peace and may perpetual light shine in your part, Amen"

Ronald “Khalis” Bell, a co-founder and singer of the band group, Kool & the Gang, has died at the age of 68. Bell died at his home in the US Virgin Islands Wednesday morning, September 10 with his wife Tia Sinclair Bell by his side, publicist Sujata Murthy said. The cause of death has not been released.

In 1964, Bell and his brother, Robert “Kool” Bell, joined their neighborhood friends Dennis “D.T.” Thomas, Robert “Spike” Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, and Ricky West to form a musical group. They were first known as the Jazziacs, before settling for Kool and the Gang. The group formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1964, went to become one of the major groups of the 1970s, blending jazz, funk, R&B, and pop. They won a Grammy in 1978 for their work on the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever.

Bell co-wrote many of the group's biggest hits, including "Ladies Night," "Jungle Boogie," the band's No. 1 hit "Celebration" and "Summer Madness," which was used in several films, including "Rocky." The song was also used in a Nike shoe commercial in 2006 featuring LeBron James.

He is survived by his wife Tia Sinclair Bel and 10 children: Kahdijah, Rasheed, Nadirah, Liza, Maryam, Aminah, Jennah, Khalis, Asia, and James Bell.

Daddy Freeze has reacted after Pastor David Ibiyeomie cursed him for allegedly insulting his mentor Bishop David Oyedepo.Pastor Ibiyeomie called Freeze a bastard and said a number of other things as he insulted the media personality, who is known for tackling prosperity preachers. Ibiyeomie also cursed the day Freeze was born and threatened him

Reacting via his YouTube channel, Freeze accused Ibiyeomie of racism, discrimination, and threat to life.Freeze began in his response, "Even if you have a gun to my head, I'll still speak the truth"He said he was "devastated" by Pastor Ibiyeomie's video because of the "content" and he went on to reveal what about the content troubled him.

Freeze said he didn't insult Bishop Oyedepo as Pastor Ibiyeomie claims, but simply drew the religious leader's attention to a part of the bible.Freeze said: "Correcting the scripture is not an insult. Christ was criticized, Peter was criticized, Paul was criticized, even the Pharisees were criticized, so there's no way you're going to preach a message from the scriptures that you'll not get criticisms."

Condemning Ibiyeomie for likening him to the Somalians in a derogatory manner, Freeze said: "I find it very devastating that just to get to me, Pastor Ibieomie will drag the whole Somalia nation. I'm very proud to associate myself with Somalians because they're a beautiful people. It is hate speech to undermine them with derogatory words, like there's anything wrong with the Somalians."Freeze also drew the attention of the public and the law enforcement agencies to the threat to his life.

He said: "Pastor Ibiyeomie, I don't know if you realize that a threat to life is a criminal offence.... If anything happens to me, I hope you know who to hold responsible."He also condemned Ibiyeomie for undermining the broadcasting profession just to undermine his source of income.

Freeze said: "You went on again to undermine the noble profession of broadcasting. I'm a proud broadcaster for the last 25 years. I've dedicated my life to this beautiful, noble profession..."He said he takes his children to the radio station to watch him work with the hopes that one or two would take over the profession. He added that broadcasting isn't something to be ashamed of.

"I think you should apologize to every journalist, every broadcaster, for undermining our work,' Freeze told ibiyeomie.Reacting to being called a "half-caste" by the pastor, Freeze said the word "half-caste" is "racist" and he asked that Ibiyeomie apologizes to victims of racism.

Nigerian woman dies allegedly after going to Turkey for plastic surgery; her husband reacts

A Nigerian medical practitioner has died allegedly after she went to Turkey for plastic surgery. Abimbola Bamgbose was mourned by friends and family on Facebook. As people mourned her, some claims began circulating that she had gone for cosmetic surgery without the knowledge of her family. Some claimed she lied to her husband that she was travelling for shopping, others said she went for surgery to look good for her 40th birthday.

However, people who claim to know her have disputed the claims. A certain Onyinyechi Vanessa Osunmo said the deceased was only 38 and wasn't preparing for her 40th birthday. She added that she went for the surgery with her husband's consent and did so "because the size of her tummy was giving her serious health concerns."

The husband of the deceased also sent a message to one of the Facebook users spreading lies about his wife. He mentioned that the claims being made online about his deceased wife do not have "any iota of truth". He didn't mention which of the claims he was disputing.
