A man has been charged with murdering US rapper 21 Savage's half-brother in south London.

Terrell Davis, who performed as TM1way, was stabbed to death in Ramilles Close in Brixton Hill, south London on November 22.

Davis was reportedly taking some shopping to his grandmother when he got into an argument with an old friend, who suddenly lunged forward and stabbed him, a family source said.

He was found suffering from a stab wound just before 6pm last night. Police attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Terrell Davis and 21 Savage - who was born in Plaistow, East London before emigrating to the US as a child - have the same father, Kevin Emmons.

Scotland Yard said Tyrece Fuller, 21, was charged on Saturday with the fatal stabbing of Terrell Davis, 27.

Fuller is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court today, November, 30.

Any gathering where people clap and dance uncontrollably paves way for the devil - Cleric, Adeniyi Oluwabiyi says

Any gathering where people clap and dance uncontrollably paves way for the devil - Cleric, Adeniyi Oluwabiyi says

Venerable Adeniyi Oluwabiyi, the minister-in-charge and head of District 4, Holy Flock of Christ Church in Ibadan, Oyo State, has explained why clapping and dancing is not allowed in the church.

He also explained why collection of offering is not allowed in the church.

Oluwabiyi, in an interview with Tribune, acknowledged that there are similarities between his church, the Anglican Church and Cherubim & Seraphim Church. But explained that there are differences and he went ahead to point out these differences.

He said: "We have some similarities, but there are obvious differences. We and C&S are both white garment churches, but in our church, we don’t clap. We have a way of expressing our joy."

He continued: "The setting is Anglican, but our mode of worship is different. We are a white garment church; we sing, read lessons, listen to sermon, and go home."

Explaining why they do not clap or dance, Oluwabiyi said: "We say people express their joy while clapping in the church, but Satan will come in to do otherwise.

"In other churches where people go to the extreme by falling down in the name of prophesying or seeing visions, no one falls down here.

"Any gathering where people clap and dance uncontrollably paves way for the devil’s penetration and manipulation. Such activities are not part of our doctrine."

Collecting of offering in the church is also prohibited and Olubiyi explained why this is so.

He said: "We neither sell nor buy on Sundays. It is a Sabbath Day. Significantly, today is the second day of the desecration of the Sabbath Day.

"This is why we don’t collect any form of offering in the church; the congregation goes out to drop their offering and return into the church for blessings.

"You cannot see members spraying or pelting money on one another in the church. Also, we don’t go to the jungle for any act of deliverance. We pray and sanctify water or anointing oil for deliverance in the church premises.

"We don’t take this with levity in our church. You see people spraying money in the church in other denominations, but at Holy Flock of Christ we follow the Bible strictly and make the temple of God sacred.

"Though, the Bible says we should not come to His house with empty-hand, but we should not forget that it is the same Bible that established the significance of the church as the temple of God, which must always be kept Holy.

"According to the scriptures, Jesus sent out the people buying and selling in the temple. That is why we do not spend or spray money in the church; we come out of the church auditorium, and give our offerings."

Oluwabiyi stated that Holy Flock of Christ Church started 80 years ago and they have managed to continue in the ways set for them by Christ and their founding fathers.

He further stated that even though they do not make offerings and tithes their priorities, they do not lack.

He said: "With my wealth of experience as a cleric, no genuine and anointed pastor will be hungry. God will commission people to feed you. Unexpected offerings and gifts will come. How much is my pension? Help comes from people I do not know."

I received vision that I would be Governor – Oyetola

I received vision that I would be Governor ? Oyetola

Adegboyega Oyetola has narrated he received a vision of becoming the Governor of Osun state long before he joined the race.

Oyetola who disclosed this while addressing a congregation at a service held to commemorate the second anniversary of his administration at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Osun Province 1 Headquarters, Osogbo, on Sunday November 29, stated that the revelation has continued to give him confidence of victory each time he is faced with legal and political battles since becoming governor.

He said;

“I am ordinarily not one who sees visions but on two occasions, I had a strange encounter. Imagine the son of an Imam, receiving a Christian song in a dream.  That was my encounter.

“All I could remember on both occasions was the last line of the song which says ‘IleriOluwa ni lati se’. Outside of that dream, I had never heard the song before. When the impression was heavy on my heart, I called one of my friends to ask him about the song, and he told me the song was the Track 2 of Timi Oshikoya’s album.

“He went out and got me the album and immediately I started listening to the track, my consciousness was restored and then I had an understanding of what God was saying to me. That revelation has continued to give me confidence of victory each time I am faced with legal and political battles since becoming governor."

“Women are more than baby making machines” BBNaija star, Khafi says as she debunks pregnancy rumor

?Women are more than baby making machines? BBNaija star, Khafi says as she debunks pregnancy rumor

BBNaija star, Khafi, has come out to deny claims that she and her lover, Gedoni, are expecting their first child together.

Khafi and Gedoni met during the BBNaija season 4 show. They developed an affair in the house that blossomed outside the house.

Only recently, there were rumors that she and Gedoni have secretly tied the knot as they now adorn wedding bands.

Her fans have since then been watching her womb with many congratulating her for "being pregnant" with their first child.

In a lengthy post shared on her Instagram page age, the reality TV star dismissed claims she is pregnant and also asked people to stop putting such pressure on women. She said whenever she gets pregnant she will share the news and until then, people should stop with the pregnancy comments they leave on her page. Read her post below

''The way I'm looking at the next person who drops a pregnancy comment on my post. Continue reading if you don't want to get BLOCKED. (I'm not joking).

I've ignored them for the longest now but according to the womb watchers on social media I have been pregnant for over a YEAR. So let me get this off my heart. Some people have flat stomachs naturally and some people have big stomachs naturally. The latter is ME. And when I'm on my period it is even BIGGER. I don't owe anyone a flat stomach but still I try to suck in my belly in every single picture and sometimes I do it better than others. The worst is that even when I'm proud of my 'sucking in skills' on a particular picture there is always SOMEONE who still comments something about pregnancy. This is a habit that HAS TO STOP.

First of all, women are more than baby making machines. A woman's fertility or decision to start a family is for her to decide, not for you to comment on in every single picture... Must our stomachs always be the first thing you look at??

Secondly, I'm not just speaking up for myself but for women in general. You may mean well when making pregnancy remarks but it is not always a compliment. For women who have had miscarriages, have been trying unsuccessfully for a baby, or simply conscious about their weight it can be very distressing, triggering and also puts a lot of undue pressure on them. So unless someone has announced a pregnancy or told you then please be nice and DONT COMMENT OR CONGRATULATE them on one.

Trust me when the time is right I welcome pregnancy (twins please Lord!) and starting a family at God's time. But until I've said I'm expecting please stop with the pregnancy comments. I'll have no patience for them anymore and any one who writes such comments will get BLOCKED.

To those who mean well, thank you so much, I do love you all But to the amebos please be amebos elsewhere . It's pressure enough being a woman, so let's not add to it.''

Nigerians to pay N4,000 monthly for solar system - Presidency

The presidency has revealed that about 25 million Nigerians who will be benfiting from the Federal Government’s Solar Home Systems that commences this week, will be paying a monthly fee of N4,000.

Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande who disclosed this in a statement titled “25m Nigerians to own 5m solar systems at N4,000 monthly" and released on Sunday November 29, added that the Federal Government's plan of commencing the process of installation of five million solar home systems in underserved and off-grid communities across the country is in continuation of the implementation of the government’s Economic Sustainability Plan.

The solar programme nicknamed Solar Power Naija, for which installations starts in December, is being implemented by the Rural Electrification Agency.

As indicated in the Economic Sustainability Plan, the five million connections initiative is a private sector-led electricity access acceleration scheme to be facilitated by a low-cost loan facility from the Central Bank of Nigeria and implemented by REA.

Akande said;

“An important aspect of the scheme is the option of outright ownership by beneficiaries at a cost ranging from N1, 500 per week to N4, 000 monthly depending on the capacities, for a period of three years.

“The programme will include the assembly or manufacturing of components of off-grid solutions to facilitate the growth of the local manufacturing industry.

“In view of the scale of materials required, solar equipment manufacturers/assemblers will be incentivised to set up facilities in Nigeria, thereby offering additional job opportunities to Nigerians.

“In addition, installation, servicing and payment collections are expected to provide thousands of other jobs. In all, at least 250, 000 jobs will be created.”

While the World Bank which is also participating in the plan is providing a grant to finance 20 per cent of the retail cost of the solar system across the country, the REA which is the lead implementing agencies of the Solar Home System, had through its off-grid solar programme connected the people of Olooji community (Ijebu East) in Ogun State to electricity, for the first time in 200 years.

Olooji solar hybrid has a total capacity of 100KW completed with 304 solar panels, 72 batteries and over 30KM of distribution network cables, serving over 4,000 people.
